A quick but perfect trip!!
Our whirlwind trip to Disneyland was wonderful!! Everything was absolutely perfect. It was Todd's first flight and we count it as Alex's first too since when he flew to Lisa's wedding 9 years ago he was an infant with a trach and we carried suction and oxygen. The flight attendants on Southwest were great and the boys got wings and a certificate and a goodie bag with candie and game books. The attendant also made an announcement and asked all the passengers to applaud and congratulate the boys! so cute. They both flew like troopers. The outbound flight was busy but we were able to preboard and get the bulkhead and be near the attendants but the return flight was at 9:25pm and the flight was only about a third full so it was definitely easy peasy. Disney was wonderful at holiday time, the colors and music and decorations were perfect. It was surely busier than when we usually go in September but since we were just there a couple of months ago we didn't feel any pressure. We did ride everything we wanted to though most a couple of times. People wonder why we go to the same place all the time and the answer is that it is all about the memories!! We have gone for 40 years and the memories are so special and the time for the family together so good.
This is the two boys at the giant tree on Main Street. This was a contender for my Christmas card but I am using another one.
When we were there in Sept, the Small World was down for refurbishment and makeover for the holidays and Alex was soo disappointed he loves what he calls the "blue boats" and can find the location on the map. This was just before we went into the park and rode the Small World and he was in heaven. The look on his face was worth a million bucks!!

A little creative flurry...............
Well, who knows why the text is after the photos?? I knew I should have done the photos first then the writing!! Grrr..........I think it is self explanatory though........sorry!
Tanner was running around while I did the photos so he says "Hi" too!

Okay a I have been a bit productive in my studio lately. I will even include a photo of the mess I made although I can't show it as bad as it is in reality! I didn't want anyone to think it was always perfect as it looks in the flickr photos!!
I did a Photo A Day Christmas book that is all ready for photos. I did a tag book a few years ago and I did the tags as I went along but this should be easier since it is photo ready. I'll just print in wallet sizes and keep in mind the album when I take pics. I also, am caught up on the production part of the Jessice Sprague class with the album and notebook done and ready to start recalling stories. I grabbed a cute notebook at Target because I loved the green color and decided to alter it as an organizer since I like to make my own notes instead of fill in blanks. I used a whole pack of rub ons on the front and covered the 3 divider sections with papers. Quick and easy and now I should be organized......yeah right!
We are having unseasonably warm weather here right now, for us on the coast it is unseasonable for any time of year especially winter. That makes it hard to remember that it really is November and the holidays are really right around the corner!! Eeeps!
Well, here are some photos of the projects and yes, I will be working on cleaning up that terrible little mess today!! Thanks for looking........
